Hi there! I'm Samantha.

I'm a visual artist and photographer based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. After graduating from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a bachelor's degree in Communication Design, I co-founded NAMI 波 Studio located in the heart of Gastown in April 2021. When I'm not taking photos, you can find me trying out new restaurants, watching k-dramas, planning my next getaway, or perfecting the best strawberry matcha latte!

My passion for photography began in high school and it quickly became my main creative outlet. As a photographer, I constantly seek to improve my skills after every shoot, learning as much as I can from my peers whether they are photographers, designers, musicians or artists. When I photograph clients, I strive to bring out their personalities and capture their authentic selves in a casual, fun and relaxing environment. The results are modern, professional portraits that feel like you.
